Evans Incorporated Announces Holiday Giving Efforts for Puerto Rico and Local Salvation Army

The Award-Winning Human-Centered Solutions Consulting Firm Raises Funds for Hurricane Relief & Salvation Army Fairfax’s Angel Tree Program 4 Years in a Row

FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA – December 12, 2017 – Evans Incorporated, the leading provider of Human-Centered organizational and operational consulting solutions, is excited to announce that it is extending its holiday philanthropic efforts to families in need both locally and abroad in Puerto Rico.

Since the company’s founding in 1994, Evans Incorporated’s CEO, Sue Evans, has imbued her value of philanthropy across the company as a key element to not just giving back to the community, but in building stronger teams through cultivating a healthy work-life balance.

Hispanic Federation Supporting Puerto RicoAfter Hurricane Maria rocked the island of Puerto Rico in September, Evans Incorporated formed EvansAID for Puerto Rico, a corporate fundraising effort to raise funds for The Hispanic Federation’s UNIDOS Disaster Relief & Recovery Program. Midway to its goal, EvansAID aims to raise $5,000 by January 22nd, 2018. 100% of the funds donated will go to the immediate and long term needs of the residents of Puerto Rico.

Salvation ArmyThis Holiday season is the 4th time Evans Incorporated participated in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, a personalized holiday assistance program that allows sponsors to provide holiday gifts and toys for children 12 years old or younger. For many of the children, the Angel Tree presents will be the only ones they receive this Christmas because their families have suffered emergencies, financial hardship, underemployment, or unemployment. This year, Evans Incorporated is thrilled to announce that they surpassed their numbers from last year! In 2016, the Evans Incorporated team filled 5 stockings and adopted 14 Angels. For 2017, they filled 12 stockings and adopted 26 Angels. Since they started participating in the Angel Tree Program in 2014, Evans Incorporated has adopted 59 Angels! For this holiday season, Evans Incorporated has cheered up 75 children in the Fairfax community.

Evans Incorporated is also conducting a winter coat drive now through January 2018.

“Our company has always cherished the power of community, team, and people. That is why we decided to extend our philanthropic efforts to help address the unprecedented devastation suffered by the people of Puerto Rico,” said Evans Incorporated’s Founder, President, and CEO, Sue Evans. “Even with our decision to expand, we made sure that we remain committed to the children here in our region. Participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program has become our company’s tradition for four years. Now more than ever, we all appreciate authentic connection and commitment to one another,” Evans continued.
