Evans Incorporated to Present at the International Association of Facilitators North America and Caribbean Conference

Mindy Forsyth to Lead a Session on “How to Increase Engagement in an Increasingly Digital Workplace” in Ottawa, Canada on May 4, 2018

FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA – January 23, 2018Evans Incorporated, the leading provider of Human-Centered organizational and operational consulting solutions, announces today that Manager Mindy Forsyth will be presenting at the International Association of Facilitators North America and Caribbean Conference (IAFNAC), scheduled for May 4-5, 2018. Mrs. Forsyth brings over a decade of experience to her role at Evans Incorporated, where she provides program support to the FAA’s En Route Automation Modernization Program.

Mrs. Forsyth’s session will align with the overall theme of IAFNAC 2018, “Expanding Our Facilitation Horizons,” encouraging professionals to both reflect on past operations and to look ahead to new innovations and changes in the industry. Her presentation, titled “How to Increase Engagement in an Increasingly Digital Workplace,” will focus on how to use modern technological practices to:

  • Collaborate client relationships;
  • Create and sustain a participatory environment;
  • Lead your team to successful and on target outcomes; and
  • Model the environment you want for your company.

“Our profession thrives on the transitions of our clients, but what about ourselves?” says Evans Incorporated’s Mindy Forsyth. “We need to be able to expand and grow ourselves by using the modern tools that are available in order to best serve our clients. When an organization has almost every part of themselves stored digitally, how do you best transition the workplace? In order to be an industry leader today, you need to be prepared to answer this and other pressing questions. I’m excited to be speaking with my peers on this subject this May.”

At a high level, this year’s conference attendees should expect to leave with:

  • The ability to deliver an engaging meeting virtually,
  • Tools to promote facilitation in the digital era,
  • Increased confidence in their ability to turn a physical space into a virtual space, and
  • Virtual facilitation tools such as online planning sessions and community builders.

The conference will be held from Friday, May 4th until Saturday, May 5th at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel in Ottawa, Canada. Please click here for more information and to register.
