James (JJ) Stakem
James Stakem is a consultant with over 15 year of organization development, training, and knowledge management experience working with civilian government, military, and private sector clients. James’ experience spans a wide variety of industries and has included work in both headquarters and field environments. James has experience working internationally, working in numerous countries throughout the Middle East, Southwest and Southeast Asia, and North Africa. Additionally, he has designed, delivered, and managed programs and projects at all organizational levels. He is an accomplished presenter and has led training and briefings from the senior leadership-level to the tactical operation level.
James holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, a MS in Organization Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University, and has attended residential military instructor training courses as a former Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator.
In his spare time James enjoys general aviation. He is a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument for both airplanes and rotorcraft, and can often be found at local municipal airports.
