Mindy joined Evans in 2015, enticed by the passion of the team and the company’s focus on the human element in driving successful and sustainable change. She provides program management support for Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM), a NextGen program under the FAA that will improve airport surface operations by providing the capability to electronically process and distribute flight data. In addition to her role on TFDM, Mindy is a member of Evans’ internal Communities of Practice for Corporate Social Responsibility and Change Management/Communications.
Mindy brings more than ten years of experience in program management and operational oversight, primarily in the international development sector. Her international work experience includes overseeing USAID- and World Bank-funded projects in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia focused on governance issues, youth education, and female empowerment in vulnerable communities. Mindy served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan, where she taught English and directed community workshops for Bedouin women. She earned her BA in Psychology and Sociology from Rice University (Go, Owls!) and her MA in International Development and Economics from American University.
Mindy’s passion for improving organizational efficiency stems from her prior work in creating current- and future-state process maps for the capture, proposal, and field implementation phases of USAID projects. She thrives off of interactions with passionate colleagues and loves to brainstorm and integrate solutions that not only address a client’s immediate concerns, but also ensures long-term success.
Mindy’s first job: Tutoring high-school kids in math – she loves her numbers and used to find equations more interesting than books!
