Kristi joined Evans in February of 2018. She is responsible for leading the corporate accounting and financial management activities. In addition to routine accounting and finance activities, Kristi will contribute to the organization’s strategic planning; playing an integral part in ensuring fiscal health, through the oversight and implementation of new financial strategies at Evans.
Kristi holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Syracuse University and brings over a decade of financial leadership experience to Evans Incorporated. Prior to joining Evans, among other roles, Kristi was the Controller for a mid-sized organization, where she was responsible for the productivity and deliverables of several accounting teams. She promoted the professional growth of her team members by ensuring they each met or exceeded their goals. Kristi’s finance and accounting experience in the government contracting space, including the implementation of multiple financial systems, prepares her for success on the Evans Incorporated team.
Kristi’s first job: While in high school, Kristi sold portrait packages by phone… aka telemarketing. Perhaps this was a start in Sales and Marketing, before realizing that she was destined for Finance.
