The first step to lasting change

Effective change starts before you see it. As with most things, thoughtful preparation is pivotal to the success of organizational change, which is where our Change Readiness Assessment comes in.

We use our pragmatic approach and our wealth of experience in change management to assess:

  1. how ready your organization is for change, and
  2. how to mitigate change risk given the unique dynamics of your organization.

Our thorough Change Readiness Assessment consists of a combination of surveys and interviews (both individual and group) with relevant stakeholders. The duration of the assessment varies depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the scope and nature of the project and availability of staff.

Why is this step so important? If change is introduced too slowly, it’s likely to lose steam. If it is pushed too quickly, there’s a risk that it will overwhelm or intimidate people or that it will breed frustration if goals aren’t met early on or at a consistently fast pace. Similarly, change management isn’t a one-fits-all approach. It’s important to know the lay of the land before planning for change.
